IT Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for clinical, operational, and business applications.
• Work closely with hospital departments, end users, vendors, and IT teams to ensure systems and applications remain reliable, secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational and patient care objectives.
• Support daily operations through troubleshooting application issues, analyzing workflows, configuring systems, coordinating upgrades and enhancements.
• Assist with implementations, integrations, and go-live activities across multiple healthcare platforms.
• Perform incident management, system testing, documentation, user support, and training.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience supporting applications in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with IT service management processes and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, security, and compliance standards.
• Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
• Open to traveling up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical, operational, or business systems within healthcare organizations.
• Understanding of interfaces, databases, and integrations.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.35 to $53.25 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
