PXD is seeking an IT Analyst/Agile Lead to join the team that supports our ever-evolving SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are passionate about designing robust, maintainable, and innovative solutions to software and user interface needs.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Remove Obstacles: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder the team's progress, enabling them to focus on delivering value.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Guide team members in understanding and implementing Agile principles and the Scrum framework, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Monitor Progress: Track the team's progress against project goals and help manage timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Protecting the Team: Shields the team from outside interruptions and distractions, allowing them to focus on their work.
- Facilitating Communication: Ensuring clear communication between the Scrum team, Product Owner, and other stakeholders is crucial.
- Promoting a Culture of Accountability: Fosters a culture of accountability within the team, encouraging team members to take ownership of their tasks and collaborate effectively to meet project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a mindset of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging the team to reflect on their processes and outcomes regularly.
- Lead projects through effective communication with peers, customers and management.
- Independently consult with clients and analyze current PXD Business Applications, needs, and services.
- Serve as staff advisor for complex projects, tasks, or functions.
- Ensure that all appropriate documentation procedures are developed and followed in a routine basis.
- Provide training and support to end users and super users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.
- OR Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.
- OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 8 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 4 or more years of experience in an Agile development environment, often in roles such as software developer, project manager, or business analyst.
- Team Support: Acting as a servant leader to help the team adhere to Scrum practices and improve their workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensuring transparent communication between the team and stakeholders regarding progress and challenges.
- Demonstrated success leading teams in fulfilling project deliverables within critical deadlines.
- Strong Knowledge of Scrum: In-depth understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration and self-organization.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly to keep the team on track.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are often preferred.
