ISC Production Supervisor

About the role

As a Production Supervisor here at Solstice, you will oversee the production operations at our Metropolis, IL location. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe working environment. You will report directly to our Sr. Chemical Plant Operations Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Metropolis, IL location on an On-site work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production operators to meet production goals
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Train and develop production staff to maintain a high-performing team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives
• Fulfill Emergency Response Team roles
• Life Safety Critical Permit Issuer

Qualifications

• YOU MUST HAVE 5+ years of chemical, nuclear, or manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Understanding of federal regulations
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs

Pay

The annual base range for this position is $76,274 to $95,291.

You will work out of our Metropolis, IL location on an On-site work schedule.
