About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types, including private, instrument, commercial, and sport pilots. Offer ground school and flight instruction services.
Responsibilities
- Teach students the fundamentals of flying, including takeoffs, landings, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare students for FAA certification exams, covering PPL, IR, CPL, and other relevant ratings.
- Offer personalized flight training and checkride preparation for advanced ratings and certifications.
- Assist students with ground school materials and reviews to ensure they are prepared for their exams.
- Ensure all training sessions adhere to FAA regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Private Pilot Certificate (PPL).
- Experience teaching private, instrument, commercial, and sport pilots.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation safety practices.
- Ability to teach both ground school and flight instruction.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 200 hours of flight time.
- Completed FAA ground school courses.
- Passing score on the FAA written exam.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
