This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Responsibilities

• Transports equipment needed
• Prepares operation by performing rework checks
• Accurately records rack and weight information on rack tickets and assure a ticket on each rack in numerical order
• Ensures product quality, consistency, and compliance with customer specifications
• Completes all required documentation accurately and proficiently along with other required written communication applicable to the job
• Ensures all processing steps have been completed and a quality product is delivered to the customer
• Completes all food handling tasks properly (e.g., proper packaging, weights within acceptable range)
• Assists on the production floor where needed
• Complies with all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Learns and complies with all HACCP and Food Safety Policies and Procedures
• Ensures compliance for all monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the Food Safety Management
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds throughout the shift
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Availability to work weekends and overtime as required
• Willingness to complete procedural training for this position
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Strong computer knowledge and skills
• Must be attentive to details to follow set schedules and directions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous food manufacturing experience
• Production experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Work history in the last 12 months
