Definition
The ISAAC Program Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ISAAC Program at the Students 2 Science STEM learning facility. The Director is also responsible for ensuring alignment with the mission and goals of Students 2 Science (S2S).

Basic Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensure ISAAC laboratory experiences align with current and emerging STEM career pathways and reflect the needs of regional industry partners.
- Ensure ISAAC program development aligns with the strategic goals and objectives of Students 2 Science.
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation, equipment, and supplies necessary to support ISAAC programming.
- Develop and manage the annual ISAAC program schedule.
- Cook up scheduling for staff, interns, and volunteers supporting program delivery.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard laboratory instructors, assistants, interns, and volunteers.
- Train staff in laboratory instrumentation operation and maintenance.
- Manage the ISAAC program operating budget for the Newark Technology Center.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Master's degree or Ph. D in a STEM related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of prior experience in a STEM profession.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of teaching and/or curriculum development is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Experience managing laboratory-based educational programs or research facilities is preferred.
