Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in communications, media, journalism, public programs, cultural institutions, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience developing, producing, or leading public programs, events, conferences, media initiatives, or audience engagement projects.
- Demonstrated experience researching, cultivating, and securing high-profile speakers, strategic partners, or public-facing collaborations.
- Demonstrated interest in the intersection of technology, society, culture, public discourse, history, or innovation.
- Familiarity with contemporary technology trends, Silicon Valley culture, and the history of computing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, public figures, partners, donors, media, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, including experience managing multiple concurrent projects, timelines, budgets, and event logistics in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and support evening and weekend programs and events as needed.

- Relationship Building & External Engagement: Builds and maintains strong relationships with speakers, partners, donors, media, and industry leaders while representing CHM with professionalism and credibility.
- Collaboration & Influence: Works effectively across departments and builds alignment among diverse stakeholders to successfully develop and execute programs in a highly collaborative environment.
- Program Leadership & Execution: Manages multiple complex programs simultaneously with strong organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver high-quality experiences on time and within budget.
- Project Management: Leads the planning and execution of public programs, managing timelines, logistics, and cross-functional coordination from concept to completion. Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution aligned with CHM’s strategic and audience engagement goals.
