About the role
The Director of Programming oversees all programming initiatives, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals and enhance community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive programming strategies that meet community needs and support organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with staff and external partners to plan and execute events, workshops, and other programs.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for programming activities.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including funders, volunteers, and community members.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field such as social work, education, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in event planning, program management, or a similar field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing programming initiatives.
- Experience working with diverse communities and understanding cultural sensitivity.
- Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
