About the role

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Specialty Mechanical Service Technician in Corpus Christi, TX. This position requires qualifications in leak repair, field machining, line isolation, NDT hydrotesting, hot tapping, and line stopping.

Responsibilities

• Promptly addresses any safety concerns and adheres to company and customer safety standards and legal regulations.
• Diagnoses issues with leaking components, reports findings to supervisory staff and engineering teams.
• Completes leak mitigation tasks, including identifying situations requiring safety equipment and completing necessary documentation.
• Works collaboratively with field teams, client representatives, and management.
• Keeps informed about the company's products and services to better assist customers.

Qualifications

• Based at a branch or on-site location, involving both indoor and outdoor work in industrial settings.
• Interaction with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Working near production machinery with high noise levels.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Physically able to walk, climb, and perform field duties.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Good observational skills.
• Manual dexterity for routine office and field tasks.
• Able to travel to off-site locations when necessary.
• Skilled in multitasking and maintaining focus in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
