IS Technician II

About the role

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an Industrial Services Technician II with Water Lazer experience to work at various customer locations. This position requires a safety-conscious approach and hands-on experience with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Operate manual and automated field equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Use special equipment such as Hydroblasting and Chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
• Examine surfaces cleaned to meet company and customer standards.
• Perform routine and required maintenance on equipment and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Assist with setting up and operating water treatment systems.
• Support the creation of continuous working relationships with clients and customers.
• May be required to conduct additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid TWIC.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training and on-the-job training.
• Language proficiency: ability to understand English for safety training and emergency situations.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
