We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join our Information Systems team and deliver exceptional end-user support. This role ensures smooth daily operations by supporting desktop computers, applications, and related technologies within established organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for staff seeking technical assistance
• Manage and prioritize the IT support ticket queue
• Install, configure, and test computer systems, software, and peripherals
• Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring technical issues with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with users and IT colleagues to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Document support activities and maintain records of configurations, issues, and solutions
• Uphold IT policies and ensure adherence to security and operational procedures

Requirements

• One to three years of IS systems support experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to assist with issue resolution
• Must be able to apply a high level of understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions
