IS Business Intelligence Developer- Analytical Trainer- Remote

About the role

We oversee all stages of the business intelligence cycle, including understanding business objectives, collecting business requirements, translating them into data requirements, designing and developing reports or dashboards, scheduling and deploying BI components, and documenting accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technology departments to understand system data and its use, analyze data, validate data, and provide support around the data and its integration.
• Monitor production systems for issues and resolve them or escalate them for resolution when necessary.
• Participate in and lead classroom instruction for at least 6 unique courses in the Revenue Cycle Course Catalog.
• Identify and provide recommendations to leadership for identified student learning opportunities.
• Develop curriculum for new and existing courses and provide organizational direction for online files on the training drive.
• Deliver training or curriculum development, including experience using various audio/visual equipment for presentations and training sessions.
• Develop logical models and presentation solutions to implement requirements using best practices within the business intelligence environments.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their business objectives and develop analytical solutions to improve business operations.
• Maintain and develop documentation to identify and define processes or procedures.
• Support and monitor business intelligence systems and processes.
• Administer business intelligence server(s) and/or processes.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), business, or related field.
• 1 year of experience with SQL programming language, data analysis and profiling, relational database systems, reporting, dashboards and business intelligence systems.
• 1 year of experience as a business analyst, collaborating with end users to define metrics and business requirements.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL programming language, and data analysis and profiling (preferred).
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise edition and/or Crystal Reports (preferred).
• 1 year of healthcare experience (preferred).
