About the role
We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our team at an established company in Oklahoma City. This is a full-time career opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Install and test current irrigation equipment and components
- Diagnose problems, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Perform field turf maintenance and any related maintenance and repair tasks
- Operate equipment and utilize hand tools necessary to install and/or repair irrigation components
- Program and maintain current automated systems
- Aid in the completion of required tasks
- Complete daily activity reports and inspection forms
Requirements
- Knowledge and skill in maintaining large-scale turf fields and campus landscaping
- Knowledge of electronically controlled irrigation systems and programming functions
- Knowledge of the installation and operation of irrigation systems and components
- Skills in maintaining records of the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize and delegate work assignments efficiently
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Possession of a valid driver license (Operator)

Pay
$20.15 per hour
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
The position may require work on weekends and holidays, which are subject to change based on the duties of the position and business needs.
Qualifications
The right candidate must have previous on-the-job experience and be primarily responsible for installing and testing current irrigation equipment and components, diagnosing problems, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing field turf maintenance, and assisting with work assignments.
Skills
The right candidate will be required to utilize skills, knowledge, and abilities acquired prior to obtaining the job, including knowledge of electronically controlled irrigation systems and programming functions, knowledge of the installation and operation of irrigation systems and components, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
