Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities

• Repair all aspects of an underground irrigation system
• Install, operate, and program all lawn irrigation controllers
• Troubleshoot and repair any irrigation issues, including wiring, leaks, and general maintenance
• Must demonstrate exceptional customer service & communication skills
• Must maintain a professional appearance & attitude
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License, and be insurable by company policy
• Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in using computers and learning new software quickly
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test
• Be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds

Expert knowledge of landscape maintenance standards, knowledge of plant material, and installation standards
Communicate Effectively in both written and verbal with co-workers and clients
Project management and organizational skills
Positive attitude and prepared to work in a cooperative team environment
Be self-motivated and work independently
Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing personality
