Irrigation Manager

This role will be located at Atlantic Fields, set outside of West Palm Beach, Florida. Atlantic Fields is a brand-new Tom Fazio designed golf course that opened for play in November of 2025, featuring Mach 1 greens, TifTuf fairways and primary roughs, Palisades Zoysia as the secondary rough, and Bahia as the out-of-play rough.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the golf course and landscape irrigation systems.
• Oversee a small team of irrigation techs responsible for final build-out, ongoing irrigation maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage all irrigation systems by monitoring and evaluating overall performance using the RainBird Cirrus Pro program.
• Repair sprinklers and pipes on the golf course as needed, regularly checking equipment conditions, and keeping them clean and adjusted.
• Work independently on a range of irrigation maintenance tasks on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintain inventory of irrigation system parts and order new parts as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in golf course irrigation installation and repair.
• Experience operating golf course irrigation equipment.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and stay calm during high-pressure situations.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts exceeding eight (8) hours.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including working outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods exceeding eight (8) hours, and lifting/carrying items over fifty (50) pounds.
