IRONMAN World Championship: Cook 2, Full Time, Temporary

Brief Summary of Job

During IRONMAN World Championship period of October 1 - October 14, 2026: Responsible for the preparation of hot/cold items according to recipes and specifications set by the Hotel.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Functions may include the following: fry cook, butcher, baker, broiler cook, breakfast cook, meat cutter, pastry cook and day cook.
• Substitutes and/or relieves cooks assigned to junior stations.
• Affords assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Knowledge/Education/Experience

• Minimum of two (2) - three (3) years of hotel culinary cooking or restaurant cooking experience that includes advanced culinary skills.
• High school or equivalent education.
• TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements

• English speaking or bilingual.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Ability to maintain good team member relations.
• Dependable.

Pay

Rate of Pay: $29.70/hour

Schedule: Shifts from October 1 through October 14, 2026
