IRONMAN World Championship: Cook 1, Full Time, Temporary

Brief Summary of Job

During IRONMAN World Championship period of October 1 - October 14, 2026:

• Prepares, seasons, cooks and portions hot sauces, soups, stocks, broth, stews, braised, sauteed and roasted meats, fish and poultry.
• Prepares cold meats and supervises the cooking of vegetables.
• Subsitutes or relieves cooks assigned to junior stations as necessary.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.

Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.

May assist in the supervision and/or training of all other cooks.

Keeps working area clean and free of obstruction of any kind.

May prepare and supervise preparation of desserts, pastries, confections and ice cream.

Makes individual cuts of meats, fish or fowl to to specified size or weight and utilizing every portion.

Initiates requisitions.

Converts recipes and standard measures to daily requirements.

Works under little or no direct supervision.

Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.

Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) - three (3) years of related experience.
• High school or equivalent education.
• TB clearance card required.

• English speaking or bilingual.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Ability to maintain good team member relations.
• Dependable.
