IRONMAN World Championship: Banquet Porter, Full Time, Temporary

Brief Summary of Job

During IRONMAN World Championship period of October 1 - October 15: Responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverage orders, and maintaining cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
• Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• One (1) year experience preferred.
• High school or equivalent education.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements

• Must be able to communicate in English with guests, management and team members to their understanding.
• Able to provide legible written communications.
• Able to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Dependable.

Pay

Rate of Pay: $19.23/hour plus gratuity
