Responsibilities
- Performs high quality radiographic images.
- Functions as a member of a team performing interventional procedures.
- Works under sterile conditions, similar to an operating room.
- Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, maintaining a positive and comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Must participate in on-call coverage.
- Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Experience performing special interventional procedures.
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
- Customer Service experience.
- Experience with vascular imaging procedures.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) required.
- Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular (ARRT CV) certification required.
- OR Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required.
