About the role
Within the organizational structure of radiology, performs interventional procedures to assist in direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Performs interventional procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Achieves and maintains competency in vascular interventional radiotherapy.
- Assists in direct patient care through interventional procedures.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year American Registry of Rad. Tech. (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Vascular Interventional Radio. (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
Qualifications
- 60 days from start to obtain a Kansas LRT License by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
Skills
- Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and patient care orientation.
