About the Role

The IPM Technician is a key player at Pest-End, responsible for executing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies that ensure effective pest control while minimizing environmental impact. This role demands a hands-on approach in various settings, thorough knowledge of pest biology, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify pests and assess infestation levels to determine effective treatment plans.
• Apply chemical and non-chemical treatments safely and effectively, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Regularly monitor pest activity and modify treatment strategies based on site-specific dynamics and client feedback.
• Maintain and calibrate pest control equipment and manage supplies inventory to ensure operational readiness.
• Educate clients on pest behavior, treatment procedures, and preventive measures, enhancing their understanding and cooperation in IPM practices.
• Complete detailed service reports documenting treatments, pest activity, and client interactions to maintain service quality and compliance.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies in pest management.
• Respond to emergency pest situations promptly, providing solutions and easing client concerns.
• Collaborate with team members and the IPM Area Supervisor to enhance service efficacy and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain Outlook email and Teams account (checking emails a minimum of twice daily).

Requirements

• Commitment and integrity to give each day your best, along with excellent customer service.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• State pesticide applicators license (paid training and state certifications provided for non-licensed new hires).
• Pass the pre-employment background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work full-time, with overtime during our busy season.
