IPE/Production Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IPE / Production Engineer to gain hands-on experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, production systems, and process improvement within a furniture manufacturing environment. Located in Greenville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day manufacturing and production operations.
• Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Assist with process improvement projects and workflow optimization.
• Collect and analyze production data, measurements, and performance information.
• Help identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities to improve productivity.
• Work closely with production and operations teams on implementing improvements.
• Assist with documenting processes, procedures, and production standards.
• Gain hands-on exposure to industrial engineering principles within a furniture manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both office and production personnel.
• Someone who is curious, adaptable, and interested in learning how products move from production to finished goods.

Pay

USD 18-20 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7AM to 5PM
