Hub employees work primarily from home with no expectation of a regular in-office presence. This is a remote-first position, with a focus on candidates in MA, DE, NY, CA, DC, MN, TX, GA, and IL.
Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of administrative, procedural, and project-based duties related to transfers, process review, client special procedures, audits, reporting, forms, and other operational needs of the practice groups.
- Support the transfer process within Practice Systems by coordinating transfer-related workflows, tracking status, resolving routine issues, and escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Assist with internal processes and outside vendor coordination for services such as PTA, proofreading, and other Practice Systems support functions.
- Maintain and manage project logs, track assigned work, document new or revised procedures, and assist with training and cross-training within the operations group and with other teams as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in patent or trademark prosecution support services preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, IP docketing/management systems, and document management systems.

Pay
Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors including education, experience, skills, professional background, overall qualifications, and location.
- In Boston, New York, San Diego, and Silicon Valley, the estimated starting pay is $28.02 - $35.16 per hour (based on a 35-hour workweek), equivalent to $51,000 - $64,000 annually.
- In Chicago, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C., the estimated starting pay is $26.15 - $32.82 per hour (based on a 37.5-hour workweek), equivalent to $51,000 - $64,000 annually.
