IP Associate Attorney or Patent Agent – Mechanical Arts

Position Details

• Draft and prosecute patent applications
• Partner with the D&M team and in-house teams to develop and execute thoughtful and effective global IP strategies
• Draft opinions of counsel
• Conduct due diligence investigations and perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with relevant experience in related technologies
• Must be a member of the U.S. patent bar
• Minimum of 2 years of high-volume patent drafting and prosecution experience required; experience within a law firm environment is strongly preferred
