About the role
The IoT & Edge Operations Analyst supports the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud-connected edge devices, industrial camera systems, and IoT technologies used in remote operational environments. This role requires experience with Azure cloud services, Linux-based systems, containerized applications, networking fundamentals, and remote device support.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support cloud-connected edge devices and camera systems
- Maintain containerized applications running in Linux-based environments
- Collaborate with engineering, software development, and operations teams
- Support cloud and edge technology solutions
- Troubleshoot issues related to device connectivity, software performance, containerized workloads, and platform operations
- Provide remote technical support to field personnel
- Assist with application deployment, version management, and release support activities
- Support platform reliability, system health monitoring, and operational performance initiatives
- Document troubleshooting procedures, support processes, and operational standards
- Participate in incident response and problem-resolution efforts
- Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices
- Participate in an on-call support rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications and infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

- Experience deploying, supporting, or troubleshooting containerized applications
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices and Agile methodologies

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and operational teams
- Experience supporting Industrial IoT (IIoT), IoT, Edge Computing, or connected-device platforms
- Experience working within energy, oil & gas, utilities, industrial manufacturing, chemical processing, logistics, transportation, or other operational technology environments
- Familiarity with operational technology (OT) systems and industrial environments
- Experience supporting remote field operations and distributed technology deployments
- Working knowledge of:
- TCP/IP networking
- OSI networking concepts
- Connectivity diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Wireless communications technologies
- Experience with automation and infrastructure management tools such as:
- Ansible
- Puppet
- Datadog
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Experience supporting platform operations, system reliability, or production environments
- Familiarity with edge gateways, industrial devices, sensors, camera systems, or connected operational assets
- Reliable deployment and operation of edge-based technologies and camera systems
- Rapid troubleshooting and resolution of operational incidents
- Strong partnership with field personnel, engineering teams, and stakeholders
- Continuous improvement of platform stability, support processes, and operational efficiency
- High-quality customer support in fast-paced operational environments
Qualifications
- Location: Spring, TX
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $75.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
