SUMMARY
NACC / Red Lake Wiinodewe Intensive Outpatient Program is a Native American, culturally rooted, harm reduction-based chemical health program that offers integrated health services. We are currently seeking an Intensive Outpatient Program Coordinator to join our team.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Intake & Scheduling: field phone calls, manage inquiries, review referrals to determine that complete documentation is received for clinical consideration into programming, schedule assessments, and intake appointments, and conduct initial intake paperwork with incoming clients.
- Clinical Support: Coordinate day-to-day clinical operations, client programming events, and outreach and engagement opportunities. Manage inventory and pick up materials as needed.
- Administration & Documentation: Maintain patient charts in compliance with HIPAA and Minnesota state regulations, including tracking compliance dates and required clinical documentation. Audit client charts routinely to ensure that chart records are updated and closed out after discharge from programming.
- Insurance & Billing: Verify insurance coverage, connect uninsured individuals referred to programming with a NACC MNsure Navigator, and provide follow-up support to secure healthcare coverage.
- Community Engagement: Provide program orientation to clients and families. Collaborate with stakeholders in support of community members' accessing health and recovery support services offered within NACC.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: A minimum requirement of an associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school.
- Experience: 2+ years working in the behavioral health or chemical health field.
- Have a valid Minnesota Driver’s License and vehicle.
- Experience working within the Native American community preferred.
- Ability to work in a diverse culture preferred.
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) certification preferred.
