About the role
The Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Coordinator of the Clinical Neurophysiology Services reports to the IONM Senior Manager. The IONM Coordinator oversees the 24/7 IONM operations for both Adult and Pediatric Services, supporting the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department, ICCE, and the Medical Center's goals.
Responsibilities
- Supports the achievement of clinical and quality measures, operational efficiency, financial targets, and population/age-specific needs of the department.
- Maintains ABRET IONM Lab accreditation by ensuring the necessary components are in place.
- Coordinates immediate availability and oversight by an MD or provides assistance during all procedures to the IONM staff.
- Supports staffing with recording neurophysiologic potentials for the diagnosis and prognosis of diseases and conditions involving the nervous system.
Requirements
- Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) and a minimum of five years of experience in intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring.
- Certification in one or more neurodiagnostic registries (EEG, R EP T, R NCS T), or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Qualifications
- Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) and a minimum of five years of experience in intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring.
- Certification in one or more neurodiagnostic registries (EEG, R EP T, R NCS T), or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Pay
$X per hour or $Y per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
