What You'll Do

Protect Patients

Your role starts with meeting patients before surgery, reviewing their medical history, and explaining the importance of neuromonitoring. Throughout the procedure, you continuously monitor electrophysiological data, spot early warning signs, and alert the surgical team in real time.

Partner with Surgeons

You work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff, influencing surgical decisions and patient outcomes through your expertise and communication.

Team Collaboration

Interpret complex waveforms, correlate findings with surgical events, and document everything with precision. Your records protect the patient long after they leave the OR.

Data Integrity

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, helping make care better for both current and future patients.

Schedule

Schedule flexibility is required, including on-call availability. Exposure to OR environments is essential, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experienced IOM professional ready to step in and make an immediate impact
  • CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of IONM experience
  • Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
  • AHA CPR certified
  • Valid Driver's License

  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a surgical team
