Role in the Operating Room

• Meet with patients, review their history, and explain neuromonitoring.
• Continuous monitoring of electrophysiological data.
• Alert the surgical team to early warning signs.
• Work side-by-side with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff.
• Interpret complex waveforms and document findings.

Additional Information

• Bonus Points: Advanced degree in neuroscience or a related field, experience with advanced neuromonitoring modalities.
• Applicants must be CNIM certified or eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of IONM experience required.
• Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• AHA CPR certified and valid driver's license required.
