Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of required reporting, remitting, and reconciling for investors through the use of servicing systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Manage processes including loan sales, service releases, regulatory compliance, escalated issues, charge-offs, repurchase requests, and investor dissatisfaction.
  • Coordinate actions with other mortgage servicing departments to meet servicing contract requirements for investors.
  • Collect and assemble data from multiple sources and systems.
  • Prepare document files for investor review.
  • Conduct research, interpret data, and develop business solutions to enhance business results.
  • Monitor variance and identify trends.
  • Maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Resolve loan and account variances and clear accounts according to investor and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work with the Investor Reporting team to resolve items within investor accounts.
  • Maintain and follow procedures and controls within the monthly process.
  • Aid in internal and external audits.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting or research as directed by management.
  • Show attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1 year of Accounting experience
  • At least 1 year of Mortgage experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with Servicing Director
  • At least 1 year of experience in the Non-QM space
  • Expert MS Excel experience
  • SQL or other database reporting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills to interact with Senior Management and other business units
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities as appropriate to meet reporting deadlines and maintain reporting accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and analysis abilities
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
