Investment Strategy Director
THE POSITION
We are looking for a Director of Investment Strategy to lead generosity investment across the FanDuel Sportsbook business. This role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and collaboration with various departments.
THE GAME PLAN
- Define generosity investment philosophy
- Set capital allocation frameworks and guardrails
- Build and maintain a clear portfolio view of generosity investments
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting
- Define measurement hierarchy and evaluate ROI
- Partner with Analytics and Data Science for improved visibility
- Identify and recommend portfolio reallocations
- Shape Loyalty, MDG, and pricing × generosity strategies
- Influence commercial prioritization and investment trade-offs
- Balance short-term and long-term goals
- Lead a small team of analysts
- Evolving FanDuel’s customer investment ecosystem
THE STATS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, commercial finance, or customer marketing
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset
- Experience in online businesses, ecommerce, or regulated industries preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of online gaming industry essential
- Strives to meet targets and deadlines
- Excellent organizational and planning skills

We offer competitive salaries ranging from $146,000 - $183,000 USD, depending on experience, location, and business needs.
