BT Family Office, LLC is seeking an Investment/Reporting Analyst to join their team. This multi-faceted role is crucial to the smooth operation of our office and requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and financial management skills.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, and is comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities in a small team setting. BT Family Office provides consulting services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, including wealth management, family education, consolidated reporting, risk management, financial reporting, cash management, lifestyle management, and advising on complex intergenerational wealth transfer and philanthropic strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in a variety of analytical needs, including the creation and improvement of reports, support of manager due-diligence and ongoing analysis, building and monitoring portals within client reporting software, and documenting various client entity data.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on existing and prospective fund investments, including analyzing fund strategy and composition, evaluating performance and attribution, interpreting key fund statistics, and reviewing prospectuses and other fund documents/updates.
  • Contribute to regular client investment updates, including quarterly distribution reports, annual financial statements, performance reports, and research updates.
  • Manage clients’ alternative investments including subscription, capital calls, reporting, tax-prep, and communication.
  • Support client service and business development teams as needed.
  • Provide support for client onboarding of assets into reporting software.
  • Assist in the production and review of presentations and other deliverables.
  • Assist clients and team with reports as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; advanced Excel and data analytic skills preferred.
  • 1-3 years of previous financial industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex ideas and solutions.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong familiarity with, and interest in, investment concepts and financial markets and models.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi-task.
  • Willingness to work productively and cross-functionally as part of a small team.
  • Must have intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, and be a team player.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference for finance and strong academic performance.
  • Addepar experience preferred.
