Job Summary

The Pricing Operations Lead Specialist supports pricing activities for investments held by Key Private Bank clients on the Global Plus accounting system. They ensure securities are valued correctly on customer statements, for client fees, and for investment review purposes. The specialist monitors automated pricing interfaces, reviews alternative investment valuation statements, and updates pricing based on analysis.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely pricing of securities on Global Plus accounting system.
  • Maintains relationships with external investment managers, line of business partners, and operations personnel.
  • Inputs data into accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identifies and develops process improvement opportunities.
  • Works with department leadership team to implement improvements.
  • Aids in departmental projects.
  • Updates and maintains policies and procedures.
  • Complies with KeyBank policies and procedures.

Additional Functions

  • Participates in Business Reviews and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Provides problem-solving ability and support to others with problem-solving.
  • Supports proactive client service.
  • Works in a team environment and implements continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality, speed, and productivity within the department.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in the financial services industry, investment operations experience helpful.

Physical Demands

General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $18.75 - $25.00 per hour. Compensation for this role also includes incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives. For a list of benefits, please click here.
