About the role

Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting an Associate to join the Investment Management Practice Group in our Philadelphia office. Candidates must list the office in which they wish to be considered for in the requested cover letter.

Responsibilities

  • Represent registered investment companies
  • Prepare and review registration statements, offering documents, board meeting materials, investment management agreements, and related materials

Requirements

  • At least 3 – 8 years of substantive experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related regulations

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive problem-solving and responsiveness mindset
  • Intrinsic motivation
  • Strong academic credentials

Skills

  • Substantive experience with securities regulation
  • Experience representing registered investment companies
