Investment Funds Lawyer for Part-Time Remote AI Contract Work (US)

About the role

If you cut your teeth in a law firm's funds group and know your way around LPAs, subscription documents and side letters, this remote, part-time project pays you to teach AI systems the same instincts.

Responsibilities

• Take part in simulated negotiations and redline fund documents as you would for a client.
• Grade AI-produced mark-ups and answers against objective criteria.
• Write up where the model got the risk or the drafting wrong.
• Help build the grading standards used across the project.

Requirements

• JD and an active licence in at least one US state.
• At least two years inside the investment funds practice of a corporate law firm.
• Working familiarity with limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, side letters and related M&A‑style documents.
• Clear, careful writing; you notice the missing comma.
• Willingness to turn legal reasoning into feedback engineers can use.
• Prior legal‑tech or AI exposure is a plus, not a requirement.

Pay

Paid per completed task (roughly 3.5 hours each on average); the hourly equivalent quoted for the role is $90 to $130.

Schedule

Remote independent‑contractor role, about 20 hours a week.
