About the role

This role is part of Mercer's Wealth Investment team and is based in King of Prussia or Philadelphia, PA. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior consultants in servicing endowment and foundation clients across a range of investment advisory needs
  • Participate in client meetings and help prepare materials, analysis, and recommendations for client discussions
  • Analyze markets, investment managers, portfolios, and investment performance
  • Develop investment solutions and portfolio recommendations for clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams including investment strategy, portfolio management, research, marketing, and consulting
  • Contribute to business development and relationship management efforts alongside senior team members
  • Support internal projects and team initiatives as needed
  • Continuously develop investment knowledge and consulting skills within a collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field relevant to this position
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience related to investments, consulting, finance, or a similar field

Qualifications

  • Pursuit of CFA charter
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in investment consulting and client service
  • Ability to communicate investment concepts clearly and effectively
  • Self-motivation and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Attention to detail while maintaining awareness of broader objectives
  • Eagerness to learn and stay current on investment markets and industry trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to traditional and alternative investments is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting institutional or investment-related client work is preferred
