Endowments and Foundations Investment Consultant
This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, or Denver, with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments & Retirement team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This is a client-facing Investment Consulting role that will work primarily with Endowment and Foundation clients, a focus growth investment practice.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients' staff, investment committees, and boards to deliver a spectrum of investment advice and solutions.
- Leverage your expertise to design, develop, deliver, and communicate investment solutions for clients, inclusive of alternative investments.
- Collaborate across internal teams on investment strategy, portfolio management, research, marketing, sales, and consulting practice.
- Mentor junior colleagues in their career development.
- Engage with clients and prospective clients to grow the breadth of services we deliver to help them advance their missions.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree preferably in a field relevant to this position.
- CFA, CFP, CAIA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7 - 15 years of experience related to this position.
- A proven history of excellent client service, preferably with endowment and foundation clients.
- Demonstrable communication of both traditional and alternative investments to clients.
- Experience presenting complex topics to clients with varying levels of sophistication, across both traditional and alternative investments.
- Self-motivation and proven ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
- Eagerness to learn and keep up to date with the investment industry and market conditions.
- A strong business development orientation, mainly through building and nurturing client relationships, participating in sales finals, and driving expansion opportunities.
- Prior experience with Endowment and Foundation clients and experience with institutional clients will also be considered.

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $122,400 to $244,800. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
