Investment Banking Media & Communications Associate / Vice President - New York
The Media & Communications Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate or Vice President to join our New York office.
About the role
We are looking for candidates with 4-7 years of experience within the investment banking industry, or 1-3+ years of post-MBA experience, who have worked on executed deals across M&A and various industry sectors. The ideal candidate should demonstrate extraordinary motivation and commitment, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have a commercial instinct coupled with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A bachelor’s degree is required, with an MBA and/or CFA designation being advantageous. A relevant degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field, or its foreign equivalent, is preferred.

Pay
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $225,000 per year for an Associate, and between $250,000 and $275,000 per year for a Vice President, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
