Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordination of transaction processes, including capital raise and advisory transactions
  • Preparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clients
  • Lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models and industry-specific business development presentations
  • Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation
  • Organize and participate in marketing and client meetings
  • Leading and participating in drafting sessions for transactions
  • Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
  • Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankers
  • Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing tailored recommendations for clients
  • Supervising and mentoring junior bankers
  • Requirements & Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of experience in investment banking
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, as well as express complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner
    • A strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
    • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Highly organized, proactive, energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity
    • Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with relevant banking-related databases / applications (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)
    • Ability to use firm-sponsored AI tools
    • Ability to demonstrate leadership in team settings
    • MUST HAVE FINRA Series 63 & 79 licenses

    Compensation

    BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs. The current estimated base salary range for this role is $170,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
