Job Purpose:BTIG is seeking an experienced Associate or Vice President to support the Investment Banking team in the M&A and the Strategic Advisory group in New York. The candidate will be involved in all facets of BTIG's investment banking activities, including equity and debt, public and private market offerings, merger and acquisition advisory, and other investment banking advisory services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the potential to take on a significant role in deal execution by providing day-to-day support to senior bankers and clients while also providing professional guidance to junior team members.BTIG offers a unique environment which combines a highly entrepreneurial platform focused on growth companies with the analytical rigor and transaction experience of a bulge bracket investment bank.Duties & Responsibilities:Coordination of transaction processes, including capital raise and advisory transactionsPreparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clientsLead the preparation of company valuations, financial models and industry-specific business development presentationsPerform research and various analyses in support of new business generationOrganize and participate in marketing and client meetingsLeading and participating in drafting sessions for transactionsConducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactionsInteract with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankersAssisting in the development and continued cultivation of client relationshipsIdentifying new business opportunities and developing tailored recommendations for clientsSupervising and mentoring junior bankersRequirements & Qualifications:At least 5-7 years of experience in investment bankingMust have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, as well as express complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate mannerA strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellenceStrong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideasAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHighly organized, proactive, energetic and decisive, with high level of integrityAbility to comfortably interact with business clients and managementAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with relevant banking-related databases / applications (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)Ability to use firm-sponsored AI toolsAbility to demonstrate leadership in team settingsMust have FINRA Series 63 & 79 licensesImportant Notes:Must be authorized to work full time in the U.S., BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas of any typeNo phone calls please, the applicant will be contacted within two weeks if successfulAbout BTIG:BTIG is a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading, investment banking, research and related brokerage services. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.The current estimated base salary range for this role is $170,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year.
