Position Overview

Jewish National Fund-USA seeks to hire an experienced Investment Analyst to work within the Finance Department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate portfolio records, performing reconciliations, processing investment-related transactions and donations, and ensuring timely and reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee investment activity tracking and reconciliation across approximately 150 accounts
  • Maintain and upload broker statements into the investment system
  • Manage tracking mechanisms (control sheets) to monitor transaction activity
  • Prepare and review journal entries for investment transactions
  • Perform monthly and annual reconciliations between internal and custodial records
  • Manage broker reimbursement requests for trust accounts
  • Process stock and bond donations and related transactions
  • Support and take ownership of donor-advised fund (DAF) reconciliations, audit support, and tax reporting processes
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate recording and classification of transactions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times
  • Strengthen documentation and internal controls to support audit readiness and compliance
  • Serve as a point of contact for investment-related inquiries across internal teams and external partners
  • Provide cross-functional support and backup coverage as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience (investment experience preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong expertise in reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction processing
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adequate attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables required)
  • Proficiency in Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Salesforce, and Blackbaud Financial Edge preferred

Pay

$80,000-85,000 Pay Type: Salaried
