Investment Analyst
About the role
BBH is currently recruiting for our Investment Research Group Program, a 3-year analyst program. Analysts support the Investment Research Group (IRG) in full asset allocation, manager selection and monitoring, risk management, and other investment decisions for our clients’ portfolios. This program offers exposure to every stage of the investment process, from initial manager screening and due diligence to partnering with best-in-class managers and monitoring existing managers on the BBH platform. Analysts act as generalists, gaining a strong foundation in investing, analytics, research, and presentation skills.
BBH manages approximately $50 billion in assets on behalf of high-net-worth and endowment and foundation clients. IRG leverages extensive experience to actively scour the investment universe, conducting due diligence to identify managers that meet our high bar for inclusion in portfolios. With a focus on the long-term, IRG takes a quality-oriented approach to investing, partnering with like-minded managers who prioritize deep due diligence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on prospective managers and monitor existing managers.
- Perform financial analysis on prospective and existing managers.
- Participate in on-site and virtual meetings with managers across the globe.
- Communicate with managers and IRG team members to deliver quarterly and annual materials, along with commentary on managers.
- Assist in the creation of broader market commentary for internal and external recipients.
- Develop materials outlining IRG’s best thinking to present to BBH’s Private Banking Investment Oversight Committee, Relationship Managers, and clients of BBH’s multi-family offices.
- Contribute to IRG’s mission of delivering investment excellence and instilling client confidence.
