Investment Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of insurance investment accounting and reinsurance accounting.
• Utilize the Singularity investment platform to manage and monitor investments.
• Serve as the internal expert on Singularity, providing guidance and support to other team members.
• Ensure all investment documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Own reporting responsibilities, including preparation, review, and presentation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement investment strategies.
• Evaluate current accounting practices and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment accounting, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Extensive experience with the Singularity investment platform.
• Proven ability to own reporting and ensure accurate, compliant investment documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of reinsurance accounting.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding and motivating teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) preferred.

Pay

$115,000 – $130,000 per year.
