Investigator, Employee Relations

For our client, we are seeking a Investigator, Employee Relations to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead workplace investigations with a focus on fairness, thoroughness, and timely resolution across a large, complex organization. The investigator will partner closely with HR, Legal, and other stakeholders to evaluate concerns, synthesize findings, and support equitable employment actions. This position also contributes to process improvements and stronger internal practices that promote consistency and compliance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $105,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Plan investigative processes, including scope, participants, and timelines Report findings to HR, Legal, and other stakeholders clearly and promptly Collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve balanced investigative outcomes Partner with HR Policy on post-investigation strategies to support equitable employment actions Draft detailed investigation reports that synthesize findings and conclusions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field; 5 years of equivalent experience required 5+ years in HR, corporate investigations, or compliance, including 3+ years in workplace investigations Experience managing investigations from assignment through completion while balancing urgency with quality Skilled at conducting interviews with employees at various organizational levels Ability to evaluate internal controls and recommend process improvements Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision options Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts Retirement savings plans with employer contributions Paid vacation and holidays Tuition assistance to support ongoing education Employee assistance programs for personal support Employee vehicle discounts Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
