What Will You Be Doing?
- Execute Asset Protection initiatives in assigned locations (5-10 stores)
- Implement shortage reduction programs in high shrinkage locations
- Provide in-person and remote support to local store management to meet strategic asset protection objectives
- Perform operational audits of store districts focusing on sales floor fullness, stockroom organization, health and safety, human resources compliance, and customer service
- Routine monthly travel to Focus Stores to manage the program and follow up on sub-standard performers
- Manage training sessions for all store personnel on Asset Protection Initiatives, safety communication guidelines, and current crisis management protocols
- Complete AP and Physical Security audits on a routine basis
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Regional Manager of Asset Protection
- Optimize inventory accuracy through effective execution and management of physical inventories, store transfer monitoring, and OMNI compliance
- Facilitate supply chain investigations to positively impact inbound carton loss and forced carton compliance
- Proactively monitor systems and conduct surveillance to identify and investigate associate dishonesty
- Conduct internal investigations for inventory, cash loss, and policy violations
- Prepare case reports covering investigation and case details
- Manage initial investigative processes for all internal investigations within assigned alignment and the District when applicable
- Serve as a liaison between store/APA investigations and certified market interviewers
- Support investigations related to internal loss throughout the assigned region while partnering with GHO Analysts
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV and floor techniques to apprehend and deter theft in accordance with company apprehension policies
- Initiate and resolve investigations related to Organized Retail Crime while partnering with law enforcement and other retail organizations
- Represent the company in court proceedings related to investigations
- Maintain an effective relationship with store leaders, peer retailers, mall security, and local law enforcement partners
- Provide clear and consistent training to all store personnel on safety communication guidelines, acts of violence, and current crisis management protocols
- Utilize analytics software to develop specific store loss prevention strategies
- Participate in corporate operational test programs to gauge viability of program evolution
- Provide relevant observational data to the Global Home Office to inform policy decisions
- Ensure accurate execution of Store Programs
- Routinely provide relevant feedback to store leaders regarding operational efficiency
- Effectively identify and implement solutions to eliminate store margin erosion
- Support new stores through physical store visitation and pre-open audits to ensure smooth and timely openings
What Do You Need To Bring?
- A 4-year degree preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in Asset Protection, multi-location experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelines
- Ability to work nights, evenings, and weekends appropriate to retail business needs
- Pass a comprehensive background investigation
- Have a reliable means of transportation
