About the role
To combat drug trafficking, you have the power to contribute to national security and improve the quality of life for all Americans. This role requires a combination of investigative skills and polygraph expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct polygraph examinations of investigative subjects.
- Identify information and report polygraph conclusions for potentially pre-disqualifying misconduct.
- Verify applicant statements using polygraph disciplines to support adjudicative decisions.
- Advise various staff coordinators and program managers regarding polygraph operations and policies.
- Perform DEA polygraph examinations and/or polygraph quality control reviews.
Requirements
As a federal employee, you must:
- Pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
- Pass random drug tests.
- Undergo a background investigation leading to a security clearance.
- At least one full year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to GS-12.
- Experience conducting the Empirical Scoring System.
- Practical experience in pre and post examination interviews.
- Ability to explain relevant topics clearly.
- Experience testifying in litigation.
- Technical review of examination files.

Salary ranges from $68,780 to $137,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
