Investigations, Compliance & Privacy - Vice President, CPA

Responsibilities

• Assess complex financial transactions for compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Work on reporting and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, FCPA, and Federal Securities Law.
• Research and analyze factors affecting litigation damages or valuation, including industry/market understanding.
• Develop and assess projections and forecasts.
• Create financial models, including DCF models.
• Analyze financial transactions for fraud and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Review audit working papers for compliance with professional standards.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues in written and oral form, including drafting expert reports and presentations.
• Create and manage large data sets; apply statistical analysis.
• Prepare presentation materials.
• Perform quality control reviews over work product.
• Organize documents and work papers, including preparation of supporting materials for litigation and valuation reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree desirable.
• Minimum of four years of work experience preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
• Pursuit of additional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFE) viewed favorably.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $220,000, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
