About the role
The Inventory Management Support position is in support of the test engineering department. The primary responsibilities include receiving, stocking, and kitting as well as organizing, auditing, documenting, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Candidate must be capable of performing all physical and administrative tasks involved and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems, including the ability to follow movement of material using transaction history as well as analyze and reconcile discrepancies in MRP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Experience with conducting physical inventory audits.
- Proficient with Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
- Able to facilitate replenishment process for high use or bulk material.
- Able to work with planning, receiving, supplier quality, operations, and engineering to highlight and resolve issues.
- Able to work under limited supervision with written work instructions.
- Able to obtain a security clearance.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Strong analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills to effectively execute and manage multiple priorities.
- Targeting opportunities for and carry out continuous improvement initiatives.
- Domain knowledge and experience with tactical radio products.
Pay
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the hourly range for this role in New York State is $18.27 - $34.13. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
