Responsibilities
- Perform transfers, move tickets and roll ups into ERP system.
- Load shop floor control to support production.
- Fill pick tickets, requisitions and reservations to support production.
- Systematically and physically move material between buildings.
- Conduct daily cycle counts.
- Verify all received/issued/transfer items for discrepancies.
- Ensure materials are cleaned, labeled and packaged correctly and moved same day to production line.
- Follow prescribed procedures for safeguarding, storage, handling and accounting for items and materials designated as classified, restricted, special project or high priority.
Essential Functions
- Complete material transfers and roll ups that support production within 24 hours.
- Scan serialized parts in shop floor control to support traceability from receipt to shipment.
- Complete all deliveries within 24 hours.
- Fulfill all requisitions within 24 hours.
- Replenish bins back to the production line within 24 hours.
- Maintain
- Process all approved scrap tickets in a timely manner to ensure accurate MRP.
- Prioritize hot list items to the floor, while all other materials are put-away within 48 hours.
- Clean materials within 1 shift and move same-day to production line.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience.
- 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Team player willing to cross train and support in all areas of the Warehouse and Logistics department.
- Stand-up counter balance fork lift experience desired (Company certification provided).
- Ability to transport 32 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds repeatedly.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and ERP system based software preferred.
- Strong math and analytical skills to solve inventory discrepancies.
- Electronic component knowledge and handling experience.
- Experience operating counting scales.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
