Essential Functions
- Perform government and company property shipping, receiving, handling, and storage activities in accordance with established procedures and compliance requirements.
- Receive incoming property and materials; prepare, process, and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry within the Material Management Accountability System and other applicable tracking systems.
- Maintain records of accountable and auditable transactions related to logistics and property operations.
- Support the preparation and execution of periodic facility, Government Furnished Property, and Company Property audits.
- Absorb responsibility for planning, scheduling, and conducting periodic inventory audits with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation to support inventory control, audit readiness, and property accountability.
- Inspect supplier-provided hardware for workmanship, functionality, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Test and measure finished products, components, and assemblies to verify functionality, operation, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
- Inspect materials, products, and work in process for compliance with established standards and specifications.
- Document inspection and test results, identify items for acceptance or rejection, and maintain supporting records.
- Cook up coordination with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding inspection findings, corrective actions, repair needs, and disposition requirements.
- Install, position, and connect components, parts, finished products, or instruments for testing or operational evaluation as required.
- Maintain hardware inspection records to support trend analysis, historical tracking, nonconformance documentation, and audit control.
- Support the Return Material Authorization process and maintain related records for trend analysis and audit purposes.
- Comply with Electrostatic Discharge handling requirements during the handling, inspection, and movement of applicable hardware and materials.
- Absorb responsibility for maintaining logistics policies, procedures, and process documentation.
- Resolve routine transportation and logistics-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate transportation and logistics costs to customers, suppliers, or internal stakeholders, as required.
- Review, evaluate, and process internal work tickets in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of business operations.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, inventory control, property accountability, quality inspection, or a related operational environment.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and working within inventory, property, or material tracking systems.
- Ability to inspect, test, and document materials, components, and assemblies against specifications and established standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic proficiency with standard computer applications and data entry systems.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
